Nicolò Bulega was the fastest rider at the World Superbike Championship test in Jerez. On Wednesday, he set the best time of the two days with a lap of 1m38.731s, while rain affected the second day’s activities yesterday.
Due to the weather conditions, Aruba.it Ducati decided not to run on the second day, but in any case, the Italian would not have been able to improve his time given the circumstances.
Despite the unexpected weather, Bulega left Jerez satisfied, as he stated in a press release: ‘I’m happy with how things went on this day of testing. It was essential to regain the feeling we had in the November test’.
Even on Wednesday, the weather posed challenges, as the vice-champion explained: ‘I can say that the wind didn’t make things easy, and sometimes, I had to concentrate more on correcting the trajectories than riding the bike. In any case, the first day of 2025 was very positive’.
