Toprak Razgatlioglu had a tough weekend in the Superbike World Championship at Assen – especially in Race 2, where he only managed to finish seventh.

Thanks to two DNFs from Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Ducati), the ROKiT BMW rider still managed to close the gap to the championship leader and now sits 21 points behind the Italian.

Next up is the Cremona round… which will be new territory for Razgatlioglu. The two-time world champion didn’t compete at the circuit last year due to injury, so he doesn’t really know what to expect.

The Turkish rider said in a press release: ‘Now we are going to Cremona. Last year I was just riding there for one day during the test. I did 40 or 50 laps, not more. I missed the races there, I just watched them on TV so I don’t know what to expect there. I will just try to do my best again and hope we will find a good setup immediately’.
