Last year, there was talk for the first time of a joint event in the future where Formula 1 and MotoGP would have a Grand Prix at the same circuit and on the same weekend.
An idea to bring together the two main categories of motorsport on tracks… that still stands. Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna, said in an interview with Marca:
– With Stefano Domenicali [CEO and President of F1], with whom I have an extraordinary relationship for many years, we have been planning for a long time. It’s not easy, but we don’t take it out of our minds. If it’s possible, we will do it.
