This MotoGP Sunday in Barcelona was rich in many topics to talk about, with one of the main highlights being the injuries suffered by Francesco Bagnaia at the start of the race, after being heavily hit in the legs by another rider. The current world champion still can’t explain what happened, but he guarantees that he will do his best to return in the next race.
After it was confirmed that Bagnaia suffered ‘multiple contusions, but subsequent medical examinations did not reveal any fractures’, the Italian still can’t explain what happened: ‘It was not a normal crash and now it’s difficult for me to explain what happened. It was a very strange accident and, fortunately, I was not seriously injured’.
Even before the race, the #1 already felt that something was not right with the bike’s tuning, but now he is focused on recovering well for the next race, in a week’s time.
– Already on the warm-up lap, I realized that I didn’t have much rear grip. Now we will do everything to try to get back on track already in the next week’s GP in Misano.
