Franco Morbidelli’s third-place finish at the MotoGP Argentine GP marked his long-awaited return to the podium – his first since the 2021 Spanish GP, nearly four years ago.
When asked in a press conference about the significance of this result after such a long time, the Pertamina Enduro VR46 rider responded:
– It’s great. I had time to forget how nice it was, I had time to think that I was not worth of it, I had time to think that I wasn’t enough. I had time to think in many, many good and bad things all together.
For now, Morbidelli is still processing his emotions and the reality of what happened: ‘I’ll tell you next weekend how it feels, but for the moment you’re just dizzy – I don’t know if it is from the Prosecco or something else! I will understand better what I’m feeling and I will tell you next weekend’.
