The MotoGP Austrian GP saw Francesco Bagnaia achieve his 25th victory in the premier class. This puts the Ducati rider into the top 11 of the greatest winners in history.
The list is led by Valentino Rossi, who has 89 wins between the old 500cc and MotoGP classes. In second place is Giacomo Agostini with 68 victories, followed by Marc Márquez with 59 wins.
With his victory last Sunday in Spielberg, Bagnaia matched Kevin Schwantz’s 25 wins, placing him 10th on this top ten list. Now, the Italian has Dani Pedrosa and Eddie Lawson directly ahead of him, each taking the top step of the podium 31 times.
Aside from Márquez and Bagnaia, no other current riders are in this top 11 list of most wins in history. Following them, among the 2024 riders, are Fabio Quartararo with 11 wins and Maverick Viñales with 10.
