The MotoGP grid for 2024 is officially closed. Mooney VR46 Racing Team announced the arrival of Fabio Di Giannantonio, who managed to secure the last available spot by signing for 2024.
The Italian made his debut last year with Gresini and, after more than a season and a half of many difficulties, ended on a high note in the final part of 2023 – fighting for pole positions, podiums, and even winning for the first time in the premier class.
Now, Di Giannantonio replaces Luca Marini, who will be representing Repsol Honda. The track work begins tomorrow at the Valencia test, but the rider is already relatively familiar with the Ducati Desmosedici GP.
