Daniel Sanders claimed victory in stage 7 of the 2025 Dakar Rally, continuing his dominant performance and extending his lead in the overall standings.
The fight for the stage win was primarily between Sanders and Tosha Schareina (Monster Energy Honda). However, the Australian rider from Red Bull KTM pulled ahead after the refueling point, finishing 3m47s ahead of the Spaniard.
Pablo Quintanilla (Monster Energy Honda) secured third place, followed by his teammate Adrien van Beveren. Luciano Benavides (Red Bull KTM) rounded out the top five.
In the overall classification, Sanders now leads Schareina by 15m33s, with van Beveren in third, trailing by 26m07s. The top five are completed by Ricky Brabec (Monster Energy Honda) and Benavides, both over half an hour behind the leader.
