Battery technology is advancing rapidly, and electric vehicle batteries are no exception. Vmoto has now revealed a promising prototype battery that charges from 0 to 80 percent in just half an hour.
This is a fast-charging battery, ideal for urban two-wheel mobility. Its capacity is shorter compared to the standard version, as it is a smaller battery. Standard batteries, by contrast, take about 160 minutes (2 hours and 40 minutes) to charge.
A scooter model will offer two battery options, allowing customers to choose the one that best suits their needs. This battery is designed for B2B use, such as delivery services.
According to The Pack, the presentation of this battery in Misano also included a comparative test between three Vmoto L3 scooters and three gasoline motorcycles, aiming to demonstrate that both types of motorcycles are now on par.
