One month before the start of the 26th Portugal de Lés-a-Lés with the Official Presentation in Figueira da Foz, plans can already be made for the great adventure organized by the Portuguese Motorcycling Federation. After the final in Penafiel and the start in Portimão were unveiled, some more details of the route are being known.
Thus, on June 6th, the Technical and Documentary Checks will take place in the Algarve city at the mouth of the Arade River, as well as the Opening Ride. It is advisable to bring a swimsuit for a swim on the beaches of Rocha, Vau, Três Irmãos or Alvor, during the intense exploration of the Portimão municipality. Moments of relaxation and historical knowledge, before the early departure on Friday, June 7th, heading towards Alentejo.
From there, it was only known that the long and heterogeneous caravan of 2000 motorcycles would travel north, with Penafiel as the stage for the final celebration on Sunday, June 9th. Thus, leaving the holiday of June 10th, Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities for a peaceful return home.
Known locations, now joined by Covilhã as the arrival point of the second stage on the 8th, where the gigantic peloton will spend the night, right next to the highest point in Continental Portugal. And to avoid major difficulties in booking accommodations, the FMP Mototourism Committee once again relies on the support of the Abreu Travel Agency.
