The new MT-07 represents a significant evolution in the naked bike segment, combining advanced technology with superior performance. At its heart is a 689 cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine that develops an impressive 73.4 hp at 8,750 rpm and maximum torque of 68 Nm at 6,500 rpm, also available in a limited version with 47.6 hp for beginner riders.
The chassis has received important upgrades, including radial-mount front brake calipers and 41 mm front suspension, complemented by lightweight SpinForged wheels. The 6-speed transmission works in conjunction with a wet multi-disc clutch, while the electronic injection system guarantees efficiency with consumption of just 4.1 l/100 km and low CO2 emissions (97 g/km).
The MT-07’s minimalist design has been revamped, highlighted by LED headlights and a new riding position that offers greater control. The bike retains the characteristic CP2 engine sound, now enhanced by an acoustic amplification system that intensifies the riding experience. Every element has been carefully thought out to contribute to the rider’s experience, resulting in an agile and powerful motorcycle that takes the concept of the “Dark Side of Japan” to a new level.
