Excited about the latest version of the Ducati Desmosedici, Jorge Martín clarified that the 2024 model is ‘more in line’ with its predecessor and the one he fought for the 2023 championship until the end. However, a more powerful model, he guaranteed, also brings other aspects that have to be managed and understood.
After mentioning that he prefers the 2024 motorcycle, Martín also recalled the smoother difference compared to his previous motorcycle, contrary to what happened from 2022 to 2023, but he also issued a warning:– I feel much less difference, the one from 2022 to 2023 was an incredible step. The 2022 bike was very complicated and this one is more in line with the 2023 one, but with more power usually comes more problems when exiting corners, we are trying to understand. I feel very good under braking, with the 2022 bike there were some problems, and braking is a big part of this engine. I believe we are more competitive this season. Let’s see tomorrow with the fairing, it’s the package.
And he concluded, explaining that there are other aspects that could still help make this year’s model even better: ‘There are parts that can help and I feel that the 2024 bike is a little better’
