A GR1T Motorcycles is a German manufacturer of electric motorcycles, and recently unveiled the fully assembled prototype of the second generation GR1T Pioneer PRO.
This is an electric dirtbike, designed to be used in adverse environments – tests were conducted on extreme competition terrains, including in the desert in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
During the development phase, feedback was received from test rider Jan Brabec, who has multiple motocross titles in the Czech Republic and has participated in the Dakar Rally seven times.
The Czech rider stated: ‘This bike is really fun and stable. The improvement from last time is incredible. I can do what I want on this bike. I trust it‘.
The frame is made of cast aluminum alloy, as well as the swingarm, which has been improved to better handle difficult terrains. The motor has also been upgraded to 15 kW of power (it had 11 kW in the first generation). The 2.1 kWh battery has also received some improvements. As for the suspension, GR1T Motorcycles has included Öhlins components both front and rear, and the tires are Pirelli Scorpion.
