With just a few weeks until the start of the World Superbike season at Phillip Island, the RPM (rotations per minute) limits for each manufacturer’s engine are now known.
Kawasaki starts with the lowest limit (15,100rpm), followed by Yamaha with 15,200rpm, BMW with 15,500rpm, and Honda with 15,600rpm. Ducati has the highest limit, allowing them to use up to 16,100rpm.
The regulations stipulate that RPM can only be altered in certain situations. The limits for the beginning of 2024 remain the same as the end of the previous season, except for Ducati, which returns to the limits it had at the start of 2023.
