Miguel Oliveira concluded the Portuguese MotoGP in ninth position. It was the first time he managed to finish in the top ten since sixth place at the San Marino GP last year.
The Portuguese rider from Trackhouse Racing felt after qualifying that a top-ten result – like the one he achieved – would be ‘ideal.’ And although he believes he could have done better, he was pleased:
– There were two possible outcomes: without crashes, it was ninth place, with the crashes, it was also ninth, but without that incident in the first corner, I would have finished in sixth place. So, let’s say it’s not at all a negative result.
