Miguel Oliveira continues in good form and in the Catalunya MotoGP Grand Prix he achieved his second top five of the season. However, the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team rider was unable to keep up with the pace of the Aprilia factory team riders, who secured an unprecedented one-two finish.

Regarding where the difference lies between the official team’s RS-GP and his own, #88 replied: ‘I would like to know specifically, but we need to analyze the data more deeply and, with the performance staff, try to make a more in-depth analysis of what we can do with this 2022 bike that can help us get closer to the performance in the race of the factory riders‘.

Asked if the good results could mean more support from Aprilia, Oliveira replied: ‘Yes, of course, when you achieve results and start asking for things, it makes sense for them to help you because you have the results to back you up. Let’s see. At the moment, all I know is that I need to stay focused on this bike, extract the maximum from it, which is what I am trying to do. That is my job at the moment‘.
