After several months with Gresini, Marc Márquez secured his first two MotoGP victories riding a Ducati—at the Aragón GP and immediately after at the San Marino GP.
This marks Márquez as a potential contender in the title race, as he remains within a recoverable distance from the championship lead with seven rounds left.
In an interview with MotoriOnline, KTM team manager Francesco Guidotti was asked about Márquez’s victories. The Italian replied:
– Márquez? I don’t think he needs any more comments. What he did after what happened, and what he’s doing now, doesn’t need any commentary. I think it’s visible to everyone. If you view it from one perspective or another, everyone will have their own answer.
