Marco Bezzecchi joins Aprilia in MotoGP this year after three seasons riding Ducati bikes with the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team. His first experience with the new bike was around two months ago.
During the team presentation, the Italian reflected on the start of this new chapter: ‘It was fantasic to see the faces from the people inside the box. They were so happy to see us happy with the bike! I got an amazing feeling on the bike. It has so much stability on the front!’.
The characteristics of the RS-GP and the progress made have left Bezzecchi feeling optimistic: ‘To be honest, I wasn’t expecting such a good feeling for the first time, but it was amazing. The work we’ve done was also fantastic. We immediatly found a good feeling with everyone, so I was impressed’.
The #72 made his ambitions very clear: ‘We will have to work hard, but we have a clear target, and this is what we will do to achieve it’.
