KTM has achieved success in all motorcycle categories it’s been involved in, and now it aims to add MotoGP to its long list of accomplishments. The goal is to fight for titles as early as this year, and its rider Brad Binder is confident.
The South African highlighted that the target is to be at the top and believes it’s within reach: ‘I think it’s clear everybody has made a step forward. I think we have made, but so had the other manufacturers. It’s always cool to see that progress and how the MotoGP is moving forward as a whole. But for us we know where our goals are. We want to be fighting at the front and hopefully winning on a regular basis – that’s what we want to achieve. Not only myself, but KTM as a whole. I think it’s possible’.
The Sepang test further encouraged Binder: ‘For me on the last day I didn’t put a lap time in the morning, I had some small issues. And I put a really fast lap time at the end when it was hot. I’m quite confident if we do a time attack at a right time, when the others did, we’re not far off. I’m feeling good, I’m feeling confident, and let’s see what this year brings us’, he said.
