Joan Mir faced yet another tough round at the MotoGP Malaysian GP, where he had to retire due to a crash, with persistent issues affecting his performance.
The Repsol Honda rider stated: ‘It’s not a positive weekend. We haven’t improved anything, because we didn’t have anything to try. So, that’s a bit the reality. We still have the same problems’.
Despite showing some frustration, Mir acknowledged Honda’s efforts and emphasized that the upcoming tests will be particularly important:
– I know that Honda is making a big effort to bring everything to the Barcelona test. Then, we will have another test in Jerez, and there we will understand. There, we will see if we are able to make a good step to prepare well for the next year.
