Fabio Quartararo is gearing up for the MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas next weekend. It’s the first race since his continuity with Monster Energy Yamaha until 2026 was confirmed, following a seventh-place finish in Portugal.
The French rider said in the preview of this third round of the year: ‘We arrive in Austin with work to do. We lost the opportunity to test in Portimao, so we need to work hard this weekend’.
Regarding the announcement of his continued partnership with Yamaha last week, Quartararo highlighted that it’s a confirmation that makes intentions clear, with complete focus now on returning to victories:
– I’m happy to have announced my staying on with Yamaha. I think this will help us, both me and the team, because we have clearly stated our intentions. I want to bring Yamaha back to winning ways and they are motivated to develop the bike. So, now we can fully focus on the work we have to do to get to that point.
