A day after his disappointing 15th place finish in the MotoGP San Marino GP, Jorge Martín was back on track at Misano for the official test – the last one before the end of the season.
The Prima Pramac rider posted the sixth-fastest time, completing a total of 72 laps across the two sessions. He was 0.492s behind leader Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), although lap times in testing are not as crucial.
Most riders, including Martín, focused on testing new solutions for the bike, refining setups for the second Grand Prix in Misano, and also running with a new tire.
Martín shared his thoughts on the test day via social media. The rider, who still leads the championship by just seven points, wrote:
– Laps, laps, and more laps! We have a lot of info to prepare the second round here in Misano! Time to reset a bit after a really intense weekend.
