The closer relationship between the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team and Ducati has been confirmed, with factory support starting from 2025. Valentino Rossi’s team will succeed Prima Pramac Racing in this status, after Paolo Campinoti’s structure moves to Yamaha.
VR46 made its debut in the top class in 2022 and last year saw Marco Bezzecchi finish third in the riders’ championship. Even without the latest version of the Desmosedici GP, the team has managed to achieve good results, including winning races.
With the new agreement as a Ducati Factory Supported Team, they will have the current official bike, a Desmosedici GP24, and new technical staff from Ducati next season. Now, the riders still need to be confirmed.
Marco Bezzecchi will move to Aprilia, while Fabio Di Giannantonio’s future is still unconfirmed, although renewing seems to be the common intention. The other rider could very well be Fermín Aldeguer, who has a direct contract with Ducati to move up to MotoGP in 2025 with one of their satellite teams.
