Voge has unveiled the Valico 625DSX, a significant upgrade from the 525DSX. With a more powerful engine and several technical enhancements, this adventure motorcycle is designed to excel both on and off the road.
More Powerful Engine and A2 Version Available
The standout change is the engine, which has grown from 494 cc to 581 cc, boosting power output to 63 HP with a maximum torque of 57 Nm. An A2-restricted version will also be available, making the model accessible to a broader range of riders.
The engine doubles as a stressed member of the updated chassis, built to handle the increased performance.
Revised Chassis and Suspension
The wheelbase has been extended by 15 mm, now measuring 1,465 mm, while the seat height has increased from 815 mm to 835 mm, providing a more commanding riding position.
The suspension setup features a 41 mm KYB inverted fork at the front and a rear monoshock with linkage for improved performance and comfort.
Wheels, Tires, and Brakes
Spoked wheels, perfect for mixed terrains, retain the 19-inch front and 17-inch rear configuration. They are fitted with Metzeler Tourance tubeless tires, known for their grip and versatility across various surfaces.
Off-road enthusiasts will appreciate the Nissin braking system with switchable ABS, ensuring optimal control on loose or slippery terrain.
Design and Modern Technology
In terms of design, the 625DSX keeps its familiar look, featuring a 17-liter fuel tank, a distinctive beak-style front, and an adjustable windshield. LED headlights ensure excellent visibility, while the revamped dashboard boasts a digital IPS display. This modern unit supports smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation for added convenience.
