Pedro Acosta experienced a crash at turn 13 during the MotoGP Italian GP practice session at Mugello. With his KTM RC16 unable to continue, he had to be transported by a marshal’s scooter.
This is a common procedure seen in every Grand Prix. What is less common is that the rider himself has to help get the scooter moving. But Acosta had to do just that this time.
Before climbing into the passenger seat, the Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rider had to push the scooter uphill before he could get on and ride along.
