After an exhausting 48-hour marathon stage, the first week of Dakar 2024 concluded yesterday. In the motorcycle category, everything is still open in the battle for victory.
Currently, Ricky Brabec (Monster Energy Honda) leads the standings, only 51 seconds ahead of Ross Branch (Hero MotoSports), having overtaken his rival in this sixth stage.
Two other riders have also taken the overall lead: Tosha Schareina (Monster Energy Honda), who won the prologue, and José Ignacio Cornejo (Monster Energy Honda), the only one winning more than one stage.
