Pedro Acosta was one of the fastest riders in the first free practice session of the French MotoGP Grand Prix this morning in Le Mans, but he didn’t escape a little scare.
The Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rider almost lost control at turn six but managed to avoid a crash narrowly, continuing straight into the gravel escape without major issues.
In the final classification of the session, Acosta finished second, 0.237s behind Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) – thus being the best of the KTM riders.
It was a promising start for the Spanish rookie, despite the minor mishap he narrowly avoided, which you can see in the following video.
