After starting from third on the grid, Maverick Viñales was having a very competitive Sprint race at the Australian GP but saw it end abruptly shortly after overtaking Marco Bezzecchi and in the end… he didn’t hide his displeasure.
The Aprilia rider was following closely behind Bezzecchi in the early stages but as soon as he saw the opportunity he tried to overtake his rival, something he managed to do successfully but the success was short-lived, as the Italian touched his Ducati Desmosedici on the Aprilia RS-GP and both ended up on the ground, and with a lot of force given the speed they were carrying at that stage of the race, with two laps to go.
The one who didn’t hold back from showing what he was feeling was Viñales, when he raised his middle finger, he who was having a strong race after a few more difficult weeks in terms of results.
