To win races, to cross the finish line is a must. As one of the most experienced riders in MotoGP, Marc Márquez knows this well, but he couldn’t avoid a crash in the Spanish Grand Prix Sprint race.
The Gresini rider was leading with four laps to go, eyeing his first victory aboard a Ducati. However, in a race filled with incidents, he himself was involved in one of the several crashes.
It happened at turn nine of the Jerez circuit, with no major physical consequences. Márquez got up and returned to the track to fiercely fight for the last scoring positions. He finished in seventh place.
In the following video, you can see the eight-time world champion’s crash.
