Marc Márquez had his first crash in an official session since joining Ducati’s factory team in MotoGP this Friday.
During the first free practice for the GP of the Americas, held in the rain, the eight-time world champion lost control at Turn 2 in Austin shortly after setting a lap that had put him at the top of the timesheets.
The crash was heavy, but the damage was only to the bike. Márquez quickly left the scene on his own, showing no signs of physical issues.
