José Mourinho is widely known as football coach, but this weekend he was a prominent figure in MotoGP. Currently without a team, he took the opportunity to visit the Portuguese GP.
And the «Special One» wasn’t just a guest. In addition to having the opportunity to visit the garages of some teams like Ducati, Gresini, or Trackhouse Racing of his compatriot Miguel Oliveira, he was responsible for waving the checkered flag at the end of the main race.
In early March, Mourinho was in Saudi Arabia to watch the Formula 1 Grand Prix in that country. Now, he attended MotoGP live, to which he says he is ‘connected by passion and by friends’ – admitting that he watches it ‘regularly on TV’.
Watch the moment at the end of the race and some behind-the-scenes images of the football coach during the Portuguese GP.
