The beginning of Joan Mir’s weekend in Motegi didn’t go as planned. During the first free practice session of the MotoGP Japanese GP, he had a crash.
While trying to complete the turn five, the Repsol Honda Spaniard lost control and went down. It wasn’t a dramatic incident and didn’t cause significant damage to either the rider or the bike.
In fact, after the crash, Mir returned to work and even set the fifth-fastest time, indicating that his confidence wasn’t affected. You can watch the fall below.
