Tomorrow marks the first MotoGP test for the 2025 season in Barcelona, but this Monday, Franco Morbidelli has already arrived to the VR46 garage.
The Italian rider will compete for Pertamina Enduro VR46 next season, staying on the Ducati Desmosedici GP24 – a bike he is already familiar with from his time with Prima Pramac this year.
This move signifies a new chapter in Morbidelli’s MotoGP career, following stints with Marc VDS, Petronas SRT, Yamaha, and Pramac. However, it also feels like a homecoming.
The #21 began his career training with Valentino Rossi and was a pioneer of the VR46 Riders Academy project. Although he never raced for Rossi’s team in the World Championships, he has always remained closely connected to the structure. Now, for the first time, he will officially defend its colors.
