The MotoGP World Championship is currently in its usual winter break between seasons. Dani Pedrosa recently took the KTM RC16 MotoGP bike to a mountainous setting, riding in snow-covered terrain, a scenario rarely seen for bikes of the premier class.
In a teaser released by Red Bull France on social media, the Spanish rider can be seen on an RC16 in an unidentified mountainous location. He was indeed riding in the snow and with appropriate tyres.
However, such a feat isn’t unprecedented. In a promotional activity in 2017, Marc Márquez did something similar, riding the Honda RC213V of that time in snow and ice.
