After the Most round last weekend, Álvaro Bautista expressed his desire to continue in the World Superbike Championship, ideally with Aruba.it Ducati. However, during his time in the Czechia, he raised concerns about potentially ending his career.
According to GPOne.com, on Saturday the Spaniard called his entire team to the garage before dinner — a rare occurrence that led to fears he might announce his intention to retire at the end of the season.
However, those concerns were quickly put to rest. Bautista’s purpose was to present each team member with a replica of the suit he wore in 2023, celebrating once again his second world title.
For now, the reigning Superbike World Champion is determined to extend his career, refusing to exit in what has been a challenging season. The next step is for Aruba.it Ducati to offer a contract that works for both parts.
