Triumph is set to expand its 400cc range with the introduction of two new models later this year, potentially on November 1. This new lineup is a result of the collaboration with Bajaj Auto.
According to Rush Lane, citing CNBC-TV18, the partnership is preparing to add two new models to the existing Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X. These new bikes will share the same frame and use the same 398.15cc single-cylinder engine.
Spy shots of a potential Thruxton 400 have already surfaced, which could be one of the new models. This bike features a retro café racer design, including a round headlight flanked by fin-shaped elements, bar-end mirrors, and components similar to those on the Speed 400, such as the main frame, subframe, and fuel tank.
As for the second model, details are currently scarce. Speculation suggests it could be a cruiser with a longer wheelbase compared to the Speed 400, a more aggressive street bike, or even a sporty model to compete with the KTM RC 390.
