Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the new Speed Triple 1200 RS for 2025, further raising the standards of performance, technology, and design that define this iconic naked sports bike. This new model combines the powerful 1160cc triple engine, precise handling, and an impressive technological package that promises to redefine the riding experience.
Overwhelming performance
With an engine that delivers 183 hp at 10,750 rpm and 128 Nm of torque at 8,750 rpm, the new Speed Triple offers explosive acceleration and unmatched performance. This engine was designed based on Triumph’s experience in Moto2™, ensuring not only power but also durability, lightness, and a characteristic sound that enhances riding pleasure. The redesigned exhaust system and the new optional Akrapovič silencer, with titanium and carbon fiber finish, reinforce the bike’s distinctive performance and style.
Precision technology
The new Speed Triple 1200 RS stands out with its latest-generation Öhlins SmartEC3 semi-active electronic suspension, which automatically adjusts damping characteristics in real-time, providing dynamic and personalized handling. The system allows fine-tuning of seven distinct parameters, such as brake support and suspension firmness, through an intuitive interface on the TFT instruments.
For greater control, the model also includes a new front wheel lift control system, adjustable in four levels, engine brake control, and brake slide assist, complementing the riding modes optimized for different scenarios: Rain, Road, Sport, Track, and Rider.
Bold design
With modern and aggressive lines, the new Speed Triple 1200 RS reflects power and presence in every detail. The twin-spar aluminum frame, new rearview mirrors, single-sided swingarm, and minimalist seat create a sporty and elegant silhouette. LED lighting and updated graphics provide a premium look that matches the impeccable build quality.
Despite all the advanced technology, the Speed Triple remains light and agile, weighing just 199 kg ready to ride. This reduced weight is achieved thanks to the lithium-ion battery and component optimization.
State-of-the-art safety and connectivity
The bike integrates cutting-edge safety and convenience systems, including cornering-optimized ABS, cornering traction control, and adjustable Cruise Control. Emergency deceleration warning and keyless ignition are examples of features that elevate the user experience. The standard My Triumph connectivity enables turn-by-turn navigation, call control, and music.
Availability and price
Available from £17,495 OTR – depending on the market of the country – customers can choose from three eye-catching colours, including Jet Black, or the premium options; Granite and Diablo Red, and Granite and Performance Yellow, all with striking new graphics. With more than 25 Genuine Triumph Accessories available, owners can make the Speed Triple their own. Bikes will be arriving in dealerships from April 2025.
