Recently, Luca Marini shared his prediction for the 2025 Superbike World Championship season, stating that Nicolò Bulega would crush Toprak Razgatlioglu.
The ROKiT BMW rider, who is fighting to defend his 2024 title, didn’t appreciate the comment and responded to Marini via GPOne.com:
– Everyone has been very respectful; Marini was the only one to speak [badly] about me. It’s strange, but he should focus on his own career.
Last season, Bulega (Aruba.it Ducati) made his WSBK debut and fought for the championship, finishing as runner-up behind Razgatlioglu. The Italian has a close connection with Marini, as they spent time together at the VR46 Riders Academy and were even teammates in Moto2 in 2019.
