At the end of January, Franco Morbidelli fell while participating in training at the Algarve International Circuit, suffering a small blood clot in the head that kept him away from MotoGP preseason tests.
The Prima Pramac rider clarified that it is a situation that requires respect and strict adherence to the doctors’ instructions, but also assured that nothing affected his left knee, which had troubled him in previous years:
– The knee is okay, this is a different injury, and it’s okay also this one. It’s an injury that you need to respect and you need to keep respecting what doctors say, but actually it’s an injury that almost doesn’t feel like an injury because physically I’m pretty good. Okay, we respect this injury also on the training side and I don’t train as if I was fully fit. But I think we are doing the maximum on this matter with doctors, with Carlo, we are doing the best job as we can to respect this.
