Miguel Oliveira finished ninth in the Portuguese MotoGP. It’s a considerable improvement compared to both qualifying and the Sprint race in Portimão, as well as the Qatar GP that kicked off the championship.
In a round of questions broadcasted by SportTV, the Trackhouse Racing Portuguese rider was asked if the start of the season is going as expected. In response, he mentioned that it is, although he wants to do more and there are some difficulties:
– According to how the tests went, yes. I just wish I could demonstrate a bit more. But I’ve been facing many setbacks with the bike in terms of not getting the setting right. The team is having some difficulties with that. It’s not enough to just have an Aprilia bike ahead of us to serve as a reference, and that’s been a bit challenging for us to understand. The team now has to put in a lot of work to give me the tools I need.
