Marco Bezzecchi had a dream season in MotoGP in 2023, with the third place in the championship and his first two race wins in the premier class. It was also a year of learning – it was only his second season in MotoGP.
The Italian rider from Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team talked about the lessons learned in 2023, emphasizing that he will have to keep working and improving even more:
– Last year I think it was a particular year – the first time with the Sprint, but also with the new schedule and everything was different. I’ve learned to try to work in the best way possible, but also in the shortest time possible. This for sure was the main thing. But I’ve improved my riding style, I’ve improved the tyre management, I’ve also improved a lot the braking. I’m very happy for this kind of steps. But as always in sports, in MotoGP especially, you never stop to improve. So I can’t sit around, I have to continue working.
