Happy overall. This is how Francesco Bagnaia is feeling after the qualifying sessions at Le Mans, with the italian from Ducati to say that he feels great aboard his bike and is certain he has the speed to do things well-
The italian began to say he was ok, after the crash in Q2, and then showing to be happy overall with what he did in the session: ‘I am ok. The good thing is the feeling [with the bike] is great and I was fighting finally for the pole position but… nothing, I just lost the front at corner nine, I was pushing a lot and touched a bit the white line. I am happy overall’.
Bagnaia is sure he has it all: ‘The lap was incredible and so it was the pace with used tyres and I’m in the middle of two guys that have a great pace but I think we are fast enough’.
