Álex Rins returned to racing at the Valencian GP that closed the MotoGP season. Since June he is facing physical problems, after a broken leg due to a crash he suffered at the Italian GP.
Despite he is now able to race, the Spaniard who will move to Monster Energy Yamaha revealed in a press conference that according to the doctors he will still need some time to return to the full fitness:
– Well, to be at 100%… it wasn’t a normal fracture, it wasn’t a clean fracture, let’s say. So, to be at 100% they say I will need nine or ten months to recover everything. But now the leg is in a good shape. The pain is very low during the day, I’m working almost perfectly. We have more muscle in the leg than before.
