Every year, the designers who create the graphics for KTM’s Factory Racing team have an interesting job. While their main aim may be to create eye-catching designs for racing bikes, the knowledge that they are also inspiring future generations of road-legal bikes probably exists somewhere in the back of their minds.
Obviously, we can’t say for sure what they’re thinking. Still, it’s the kind of math that makes sense for practically every manufacturer with factory racing teams and road bike models. You can see it again with the latest paint and graphics updates found on the 2024 KTM RC 390.
Admittedly, it may not have the Red Bull logos, but the combination of this beautiful, deep shade of blue with orange is certainly a result of the long partnership between the energy drink empire and KTM in racing.
The 2024 KTM RC 390 is equipped with a 373 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 43 hp of power and 36.6 Nm of torque. The bore and stroke are 89 mm by 60 mm. It has a PASC slipper clutch and is equipped with a six-speed gearbox. QuickShift is available as an optional accessory. This engine uses Bosch engine management.
Please note that this is not the updated 399 cc engine found in the 2024 KTM 390 Duke.
KTM sells its bikes all over the world, as do many international motorcycle manufacturers. As such, prices and availability vary by region. Your best bet for the most accurate information on prices and availability in your area is to contact your local authorized KTM dealer with any questions you may have or to arrange a test ride.
KTM reports that the RC 390 2024 should be available from its network of authorized KTM dealers in February 2024.
