This year, Trackhouse Racing starts its debut season in MotoGP with a current Aprilia RS-GP, delivered to Miguel Oliveira – the team’s other satellite rider, Raúl Fernández, will have to wait a few more months, competing for now with last year’s version.
Davide Brivio, who recently took on the role of team principal, was asked about the differences between the new bike and the previous one. In response, the Italian stated:
– I’m not so technical to tell you the differences, but as far as also you can see, as far as I know, the 2024 has been quite strongly developed in aerodynamics, so it’s one step further. There are also improvements in other areas like the engine, chassis… anyway, it’s not a new bike, but a different bike. I think they tried to fix as much as possible the weak points or the points that could be improved from the last year. It’s a new bike, but it’s also a bike that needs to be developed, needs to be understood and setted-up.
