Tacita defines its range with the T-Cruise line, developed in the 2 Urban and Turismo models, and the T-Race line, developed in the 3 Enduro, Motard and Motorally models. In 2025, the Discanto will be added, as well as the Pitbike Maestro. Motorcycles that combine a passion for two wheels with a soul that is always ready for adventure, pushing the boundaries of innovation.
“We are ready with 10 different types of motorcycles between road and off-road, all already in production,” say Pierpaolo Rigo, founder and President of Tacita Electric Motorcycles and Luca Oddo CEO of the company. “We have focused on this leap forward to achieve a higher standard on all models. Thanks to the introduction of cutting-edge technological innovations, such as the 5-speed gearbox, Tacita will contribute to a unique riding experience combined with the electric philosophy, winning over even the most demanding enthusiasts,” conclude Rigo and Oddo.
T-Cruise
The T-Cruise range, like all Tacita models, is the result of technological research developed and tested in the most extreme conditions by TACITA FORMULA CORSA, the world’s first electric racing team.
Designed for those who like to travel, it interprets the cruiser concept in an electric key and is available in Urban S, R and Turismo S, R, S-LR and R-LR models. The models already in production are available with 18 kWh and 27 kWh traction battery options. The T-Cruise is the ideal solution for urban travel and commuting, as well as for motorcyclists who want to embrace the world of electric two-wheelers with a great driving style.
Tacita’s focus on the rider’s riding experience has always been central and the T-Cruise 2024 is designed to inspire riders to embark on new adventures.
T-Race
Tacita’s technology is designed and built for major competitions, and it is experience in the field that enables the most innovative vehicles to be developed. Tacita’s first test bench was at the Dakar 2024 with the Discanto, the company’s flagship, where all the feedback needed to develop the T-Race 2024 range was gathered.
The T-Race represents Tacita’s most successful and longest-lasting off-road line. Following the success of the T-Race Rally, born as a prototype in 2012 in Merzouga as the world’s first electric motorcycle to compete in a rally, it is thanks to the experience at this year’s Dakar that Tacita today officially presents the new T-Race Enduro, the T-Race Motard and, finally, the T-Race Motorally, innovative in every way.
The new models are a concentrate of power and lightness: equipped with a 0.7 mm thick fairing made from a mixture of carbon and ballistic Kevlar, they guarantee maximum strength combined with great flexibility. With traction battery options of 9 kWh for the Enduro and Motard, and 13 kWh for the Motorally, and a weight of no more than 196 kg, they create the perfect conditions to meet the needs of motorcyclists who want to go against the current, beyond the limits of off-road, to enjoy off-road riding with an innovative and silent travel companion.
All Tacita models are characterized by advanced technology that makes them unique in the world. The components are produced 80 percent in-house or are directly owned by the company: this allows for production security across the board and total independence.
For the first time, Tacita also brings 5 unique technological advantages to an electric motorcycle:
Each bike is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox, which optimizes performance and allows for increased autonomy;
Interchangeable batteries in the Motorally model with a replacement that can be done in 3 minutes;
Liquid cooling rather than air cooling, which prevents overheating, does not lose range and speed and ensures the performance of each model; The Battery Management System (BMS), equipped with its own software, which produces advantages such as increasing range and preventing overheating, a factor that often forces the rider to slow down considerably.
Finally, Tacita studied a specific design to equip all the controllers with a 120-volt system. A very specific choice that provides extra safety for drivers.
All models have a continuous power of 11kW and a maximum power of 34kW, which allows them to be ridden with an A1 or B license. Today, the bikes for 2024 are already on pre-order in Europe on the website and, from 2025, they will be available in Canada and the USA, shipped directly from the headquarters in Poirino (Turin) to Tacita’s new headquarters in North America.
