Suzuki has partnered with one of the world’s biggest cycling events, becoming the official motorcycle of the 2025 Giro d’Italia. This is one of the three major races on the international calendar, scheduled from May 9 to June 1.
A total 46 V-Strom 800DE units will be part of the event’s organization fleet. The model features a 776cc twin-cylinder engine, producing 84 hp of power and 78 Nm of torque.
The V-Strom 800DE is an ideal motorcycle for all types of terrain, thanks to its aerodynamic protection, long-travel suspension, and 20-liter fuel tank.
The partnership extends beyond the Giro d’Italia to include events such as the women’s Giro, Strade Bianche (both men a women), Tirreno-Adriatico, Milano-Torino, Milano-Sanremo, Giro-E, Sanremo women’s, Giro d’Abruzzo, Giro Next Gen, Gran Piemonte, and Il Lombardia.
Paolo Ilariuzzi, director of Suzuki’s Motorcycle and Marine Division, stated: ‘Suzuki is proud to have been chosen by RCS Sports & Events to be part of all the historic events of the Corsa Rosa circuit, with Suzuki motorcycles taking the spotlight on Italian and international roads. The pink livery of the V-Strom 800DE, displayed here in Verona, symbolizes this new partnership’.
