Honda has entrusted a European with the role of technical director in MotoGP – Romano Albesiano. Coming from Aprilia, he will be responsible for making the RC213V competitive again.
The Italian only joined Honda at the start of the year, so his impact has yet to be reflected in practical results.
Team director Alberto Puig emphasized this in an interview with the official MotoGP website, while also expressing confidence in what Albesiano can bring to the team:
