In this case, it’s a Chinese bike that reproduces many of the technical and stylistic features of a well-known and popular British motorcycle. Regnancy’s RX7 features a single seat suspended over a large rear tire, a front end equipped with a round headlight, and even a flat handlebar resting on long tie rods.
Even so, there is a difference: Regnancy’s RX7 opts for a truly exaggerated rear tire, one with 240mm that makes this bobber a close interpretation of a Custom built by a specialist workshop. In this respect, Triumph, with its Bonneville Bobber, settles for a 150mm rear tire, much to the chagrin of those who also want a bike that’s pleasant to ride.
The RX7 has a 650cc, 70 hp twin-cylinder engine which, according to rumors, comes from CFMOTO and is closely related to the Kawasaki engine of the same displacement used in the Versys series and other models.
We know that the Regnacy RX7 costs around 5,600 euros in China and that there are no plans to import it into our market.
