QJMotor will embark on its second season in the World Supersport Championship in 2025, with an eye on a possible step up to the World Superbike Championship.
Next year, the Chinese manufacturer will begin with the bike it used in 2024. However, mid-season, it plans to introduce the new SRK 800 RR, which is expected to be more competitive.
According to GPOne.com, QJMotor’s plans involves firmly establishing itself in Supersport before making the leap to WSBK in 2026. If realized, this move would make QJMotor the first Chinese manufacturer to compete in the Superbike category.
The road version of the SRK 800 RR, unveiled this year, features a four-cylinder engine delivering 95 hp and 75 Nm of torque, with a displacement of 778cc. The bike is built on a steel trellis frame, equipped with a Marzocchi front fork, and Brembo braking components.
